Later on, in the 1930s, it became popular in the United States and, over the years, it has expanded around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Brunch was born under the intention of replacing breakfast and lunch, by being a <strong>late meal<\/strong>, made between 10am and 4pm, on Sundays, holidays or on festive dates. One of the basic rules of this concept is &#8220;abundance&#8221;! In fact, any dish can be part of a brunch!<\/p>\n<p>Finally, it is relevant to provide a sophistication touch to the table, by composing it with delicate porcelain \u2013 such as <a href=\"https:\/\/costa-verde.celsoalmeida.pt\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Costa Verde\u2019s porcelain<\/a> \u2013 light decoration and a good dose of affection. After all, who doesn&#8217;t appreciate a good get-together, with a brilliant meal on a <a href=\"https:\/\/costa-verde.celsoalmeida.pt\/en\/table-decoration-trends\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">harmonious table<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What to include in a delicious brunch menu?<\/h2>\n<h3>Starters:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Flemish\/fresh\/light curd cheese;<\/li>\n<li>Natural\/skimmed yoghurts;<\/li>\n<li>Different types of bread;<\/li>\n<li>Whole grain cereals;<\/li>\n<li>Oilseeds (nuts, almonds&#8230;) and seeds;<\/li>\n<li>Assorted fruit;<\/li>\n<li>Honey or jam (options with no added sugar);<\/li>\n<li>Canap\u00e9s (example: wholemeal toast with cream cheese, smoked salmon and parsley).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>First course:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Pancakes (sugar-free \/ low added sugar or refined flours);<\/li>\n<li>Waffles (sugar-free \/ low added sugar or refined flours);<\/li>\n<li>Omelette;<\/li>\n<li>Scrambled eggs;<\/li>\n<li>Toasts with avocado and poached egg.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Main course:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/costa-verde.celsoalmeida.pt\/en\/salad-healthy-tasty-choice-hottest-days\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Assorted salads<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Healthy quiches;<\/li>\n<li>Frittatas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Dessert:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Fruit salad;<\/li>\n<li>Spoon sweets;<\/li>\n<li>Cakes (sugar-free \/ low added sugar or refined flours).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On what concerns to <strong>drinks<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/costa-verde.celsoalmeida.pt\/en\/strengthen-immunity-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">infusions<\/a>, teas and coffee are great options to go along with the starters. I suggest flavoured water, iced infusions, sparkling wine and white wine (in moderation) to go along with the dishes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is not compulsory to follow this order, nor to include all these suggestions in the same meal.
